Terms, Conditions & Warranty


All of our products have a 3 year warranty on electrical and timber components. This guarantee covers damage or defects incurred through normal use and excludes any damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. 
Defect claims must be brought to our attention via email (info@fluxwoodlighting.com) accompanied by photo documentation. Fluxwood reserves the right to subject the claim to an inspection. If the product is confirmed defective, we will send a replacement. The cost of shipping will be absorbed by Fluxwood Lighting. 

As our products are made from Natural Solid Timber, appropriate care must be taken. This guarantee does not cover misuse or damage due to environmental factors such as exposure to extreme conditions, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, scratches, burns, or inappropriate use or use of inappropriate cleaning products, or damage to 3rd party property.

Timber Care
To clean the timber components, dust using a clean, soft cloth. Avoid the use of detergents and glass cleaners. Use only products that contain natural ingredients. Do not use silicon based products. Never attempt to make repairs to any finished surface without the advice and the assistance of a professional. 

After opening the delivery, should the pendant be damaged, take photos of the pendant and report the issue by sending an email to info@fluxwoodlighting.com within 7 days after receiving your package. If the product is confirmed defective, we will send you a replacement and reclaim the defective lamp (which must be unassembled and in its original packaging) at our cost. Once goods have been delivered, Fluxwood is not responsible for any defect or damage which may be caused by:

  •  Failing to properly maintain or store any goods.
  •  Improper installation or assembly.
  •  Failing to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by Fluxwood

Product Variation
Much care and craftsmanship go into making our pendants. Our goal is to craft a beautiful solid timber pendant for every customer. The images that are displayed on our website are indicitive depictions of our products and since every item is hand-made from natural hardwoods, there may be variations in timber grain and colour from one pendant to another. 

Order Process
After having entered your contact details, you will begin the payment process. Before submitting your payment, please take a minute to familiarize yourself with our Terms & Conditions.  Your payment submission implies that you have accepted these terms. After submitting your order, you will receive an order receipt confirmation by email. The system will generate an order number, which you can use for reference on any inquiries. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at info@fluxwoodlighting.com and we will address the issue ASAP.


Prices are valid for 60 days from the date of quotation. Prices exclude freight unless otherwise stated on a pricelist or quotation. 

Payment Terms
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. If you cannot pay by credit card or Paypal, contact us at info@fluxwoodlighting.com and we can take your order manually with a payment via Bank Transfer. 

Order Deposit
A 30% deposit payment must be received by Fluxwood prior to commencing production of the order. If the order has commenced production, no refund of a deposit may be guaranteed. Balance is due on completion of production, prior to dispatch. Deposits are non-refundable, unless agreed in advance. 

Lead time for Bespoke Orders
Our standard production time is 4-6 weeks for bespoke pendants. Lead times are an estimate and are subject to change.  If you require a shorter lead time, please contact us at info@fluxwoodlighting.com, specifying the required arrival date, and we will confirm whether it is possible. Lead times do not commence until receipt of the deposit payment.

Lead time for In-Stock Pendants
Pendants that are listed as in-stock are ready to post directly from our workshop in Currumbin.
Please read individual product listings for the lead time. 

Order Cancellation/Modification
Customers may cancel/modify their order up to 48 hours after having submitted their order. Any requests to cancel/modify an order beyond that grace period will not be accepted. Please contact us at info@fluxwoodlighting.com and we will
modify the order or cancel it and issue a refund.

Australian Delivery
Fluxwood prices exclude delivery. Fluxwood will quote delivery prices excluding insurance. 

International Delivery
Fluxwood prices exclude delivery. Fluxwood will quote delivery prices excluding insurance. 
Please contact us at info@fluxwoodlighting.com and we will provide a quote for shipment in your country. Customs fees and taxes are not included in our prices. 

Fluxwood does not accept returns or exchanges on any bespoke orders. 
For In-Stock pendants purchased online, customers may return goods within 10 days of receiving their order, in exchange for a store credit, product exchange, or refund. The product must be unassembled and in its original packaging.
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping. Credits are valid for one year as of day of issue. Please contact us at info@fluxwoodlighting.com to let us know that you will be returning the goods and we will provide further instructions.
