Domi Interiors created Stanmore House as a contemporary residential project with a focus on balance. Pairing crisp architectural lines with warm timber detailing to create a space that feels both elevated and welcoming.
The kitchen and dining area form the heart of the home, pairing white joinery, stone surfaces and terrazzo flooring with natural timber to soften the palette. This careful contrast creates a cohesive material language. A space that feels refined yet highly liveable, supported by an abundance of natural light throughout the day.
The Tenn Pendant in Tasmanian Oak is suspended above the island bench, acting as both a sculptural focal point and a functional lighting element. Its softly tapered timber form introduces warmth and softness, complimenting the surrounding materials while maintaining a subtle architectural presence.
A considered lighting approach allows the space to transition seamlessly from day to night. Natural light defines the space by day, while the Tenn Pendant creates a soft glow, anchoring the kitchen at night.
