Australian hardwoods
Tasmanian Oak
Tasmanian Oak is a premium Australian hardwood prized for its warmth, strength, and consistent, light straw to pinkish-brown tone. Sourced from Eucalyptus regnans, E. obliqua, and E. delegatensis, it offers fine, straight grain. Its dimensional stability and moderate density suit furniture, flooring, stairs, cabinetry, and interior joinery. The timber accepts stains evenly, yet also looks stunning clear-coated, highlighting subtle figure and natural luster.
Tasmanian Blackwood
Blackwood is a medium-sized Australian hardwood that grows from eastern South Australia to southern Queensland coastal areas. Tasmanian blackwood is definitely an ‘appearance timber’, with a heartwood that is a rich golden brown. This is sometimes complemented by reddish streaks or a narrow band of darker colour, indicative of the growth rings. Blackwood has a medium and even texture. Its grain can either be straight or have a wavy fiddleback pattern.
Spotted Gum
Spotted Gum is one of Australia’s premium native hardwoods with a striking appearance and a high degree of natural durability and strength. Spotted Gum is the common name for four timber species that grow along the east coast of Australia, from northeast Victoria to the northern tablelands of Queensland. The heartwood ranges from light brown through to dark red-brown hues. Sapwood is usually white to light brown in colour.
Imported hardwoods with FSC certification
American Oak
Also known as Northern White Oak or Southern White Oak, White Oak is grown in North America and has a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, meaning it is sustainably grown and harvested. The sapwood of American white oak is light coloured and the heartwood is light to dark brown. White oak is mostly straight grained with a medium to coarse texture, with longer rays than red oak. White oak therefore has more figure.
American Black Walnut
American Black Walnut (Juglans nigra) is a premium North American hardwood renowned for its rich chocolate-brown heartwood, purplish undertones, and creamy sapwood contrast. Its fine, usually straight grain—with occasional curl or fiddleback—machines crisply, carves cleanly, and turns beautifully. Rock Maple
Rock Maple is a premium North American hardwood prized for its exceptional durability and fine grain. Its colour ranges from creamy white to light tan, occasionally featuring subtle pink undertones or distinctive figuring such as birdseye and curly grain. Known for its strength, stability and smooth texture, Maple maintains a refined, understated character. Its light, neutral palette makes it particularly well suited to modern, minimalist and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, bringing warmth, brightness and timeless appeal

American Oak – Black Finish
American Oak – Black Finish combines the natural grain and character of solid American Oak with a durable painted black finish. While the deep black tone creates a bold and contemporary appearance, the timber’s subtle texture and grain remain visible beneath the surface, adding warmth and depth that cannot be achieved with standard painted materials. This finish is ideal for interiors seeking contrast, sophistication and a refined architectural aesthetic.
American Oak – White Finish
American Oak – White Finish features a crisp painted white finish applied to solid American Oak. Designed to complement lighter interiors and minimalist spaces, this finish offers a clean and timeless appearance while retaining the quality and craftsmanship of natural timber beneath. Its versatility allows it to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of residential and commercial environments.
American Oak – White Oil Finish
American Oak – White Oil Finish is created by applying layers of white oil to solid American Oak, softening its natural golden tones and creating a lighter appearance. This finish enhances the timber’s grain and texture while reducing warmth, making it particularly suited to contemporary, coastal and Scandinavian-inspired interiors.
