Beach House is a carefully considered renovation and extension designed to embrace its coastal setting through warmth, materiality and timeless design.
At the heart of the home, the open-plan kitchen creates a natural gathering space for everyday living and entertaining. Generous natural light, clean architectural lines and a restrained material palette establish a calm and welcoming atmosphere, while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
Rich walnut timber joinery, Taj Mahal quartzite and aged brass detailing bring warmth, texture and refinement to the interior. Each material has been selected for its natural character, allowing the kitchen to feel both functional and enduring while celebrating craftsmanship and honest materiality.
The Roller Pendant in Spotted Gum complements the surrounding timber joinery, introducing a refined architectural element above the island bench. Its minimal cylindrical form allows the natural timber to remain the focal point, while soft, directional light enhances both task lighting and the relaxed atmosphere of the space.
